Eye Opener is an eye-opening project to support teacher trainers in adequately addressing the diversity of students during their internships.
6 teacher trainers of 3 different teacher training institutes in Ghent took part in a group of guided intervision: University College Ghent (HoGent), Ghent University (UGent) and Adult Education Center Kisp (CVO Kisp) (2014 - 2015).
Inspiring frameworks that were used to improve the quality of student coaching were: Universal Design for Learning (UDL; Rose & Meyer, 2002), Solution Focused Coaching (SFC; de Shazer, 1985) and Core Qualities (Ofman, 2007).
This website focuses on the concept, the process and the product of this project. Eye Opener was a project organized in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. Therefore the information on this website is in Dutch. Nevertheless there are many images and logos.
